Matthew and Mark Evans Foundation and Center

Our purpose, mission, and vision:
The purpose of our non-profit organization is to bring donors together to provide services for families and individuals experiencing a life crisis, including educational, medical, emotional, and mental health needs, through a variety of means, including coordination with established charities.
In addition, our mission is to provide a Center, in coordination with the Christian Fellowship PHC, where services are provided to help families and individuals in stressful situations by providing support groups and life coaching. A major focus of these services is to provide support to clergy members and their families.
Dear Friends and Supporters of MMEFC:
One year ago today, we were preparing to host our open house for the Matthew and Mark Evans Foundation and Center. This reminder, in addition to the completing of our annual financial reporting to the IRS, brought the following word to my mind, “stewardship.”
Stewardship is defined as “the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one’s care.” I can think of nothing more important than being a good steward and carefully using the donations you have so generously given to the Matthew and Mark Evans Foundation and Center in the past year. The Board of Directors for this organization along with Rev. and Mrs. Dean Morgan, Joshua Evans and our volunteers have a shared vision for the careful and effective utilization of the funds we receive. It is a pleasure to serve as the Executive Director of this charity and to be able to report to you, the donors, how your funds have benefited others. I often say, “We exist to help others” and it is true.
We recently submitted our annual 990-form to the IRS. The 990-form submitted by public charities is subject to public inspection, per the IRS; however, certain information, such as personal individual donor information is not part of the public disclosure. As part of our reporting system, we also sent an accounting of the grant and offerings we received in 2024 from the SCIPHC for Clergy Care to Bishop Morris Smith and the SCIPHC Executive Council Members. Now, I am posting here and to our website (www.mmemf.org) portions of that report for your review.
We are seeking grants to help expand our ability to provide more assistance to those in need, especially in Mental Health Services. As always, we are appreciative of the donations, and we ask that you prayerfully consider continuing to support our efforts to help others in ways that directly improve their lives.
May God bless you and you have blessed others,
Gloria Miles Evans
